📖 Guide — how sign-offs work

Every quote should get a final pricing sheet approved here before it goes to the customer. The tile on the dashboard (and the Sales Station) shows how many sheets are waiting.

Getting a sheet into the queue — three ways:

  • From the Pricing Engine: Save Quote (it offers sign-off right after) or the → Send for Sign-off button.
  • ⬇ Import from Pricing Engine (top right) — pick any previously saved quote and turn it into a sheet.
  • + Custom quote sheet — for anything priced outside the engine (helmets, one-off equipment): type the lines and prices yourself.

Reviewing a sheet: open it and check the lines and the big total. The Contract cost box (optional — engine quotes pre-fill it with our landed cost) drives the profit read-out: total, cost and profit in £ / $ / €, plus margin %. Adjust it live to test "what if the cost comes in higher".

Deciding: anyone can ✓ Approve or ✕ Reject — your name, role and the exact time are stamped on the sheet permanently, so the approval is yours. Rejections require a note. If you see a ⚠ "quote edited after submission" banner, ask for a fresh sheet instead of signing a stale one.

Afterwards: the History tab keeps every decision with its stamp and note. 🖨 prints a clean paper copy. Re-sending a quote replaces its older pending sheet — the queue only ever holds the newest version.
