Everything under one roof.
Every item traceable.

Sarkar Tactical was founded by an ex-serviceman in 2008 and is founder-led to this day. We design, manufacture and supply body armour, ballistic helmets, EOD equipment and tactical products from our factories in Glasgow, Scotland and Brazil, with a sales and distribution office in Plano, Texas. Every plate, panel and helmet leaves the floor with a serial number that traces back to its batch and test record.

Our vests and helmets are in service with more than twenty armed forces — including the US Marine Corps, US Army, US Navy, Spanish Navy, UK and US police forces, the United Nations and UNICEF — and our equipment serves armed and security forces in more than forty countries.

Technology

R&D, testing and manufacture.

At Sarkar Tactical, we are industry experts. Our staff are highly skilled professionals who enforce an elaborate research and design process — and everything that leaves the floor is tested, traceable and certified. From the raw thread to the final finished article.

01

Requirements

Firstly, and perhaps most importantly, customer and industry requirements are considered — enabling the vital development and research that follows.

02

Draft pattern

When specifications are verified, the design team creates a draft pattern. The pattern is continually evolved and evaluated by the design and engineering teams, then ultimately verified by management before moving forward to the prototype phase.

03

Prototype

A final prototype is agreed through the same channels as the draft pattern — design, engineering, management — and with client approval, the prototype is finalised.

04

Finalise & record

Superseded versions are archived and the final design information is recorded — so every product that reaches the floor carries its full design history.

Testing

Two kinds of proof.

Each of our products is subject to rigorous testing to ensure uniform quality, standardised across our range. There are two main categories of testing that we carry out.

Quality-assurance batch testing. We outsource batch testing to professional laboratories whose sole purpose is to perform extensive procedures assessing the standard of specified products. The laboratory we use is Oregon Ballistic Laboratories (OBL).

Factory acceptance testing. If requested, factory acceptance testing can be performed — the client visits our site to personally review the products. A degree of transparency you will struggle to find among competitors.

Manufacturing

Commitment to quality.

Sarkar Tactical is passionately committed to achieving the highest quality standards in the design, manufacture and delivery of protective systems and tactical gear.

Our quality-assurance processes — and the people who guide them — test everything from incoming raw materials and sourced components to final inspection and lot sampling. Labs located at each of our manufacturing facilities ensure our ballistic helmets, vests and other tactical products are tested throughout their development and manufacture, consistently exceeding the ballistic, environmental and quality standards required by military customers around the world.

With on-site quality assurance, product assembly, warehousing and distribution, every mission-critical process stays in-house — constantly monitored and controlled by the technical team with one goal: product that exceeds our ballistic standards, quality requirements and delivery schedules. On time, every time.

How do we know our products perform to the highest standards? Because we test them. Continuously.
